How to be more productive

Maybe if I hide long enough my task list will disappear

The art of becoming more productive is a slow burn is a fast burn. I often find myself complaining that there isn’t enough time in the day without actually using all of the time in a day. I am guilty of sitting down, scrolling and then losing half the day. There was a period this year where I deleted all social media platforms and was shocked at the amount of time I had in the day and the large gaps of ‘Okay what’s next?’

However, I am someone that uses social media to reach out to others so naturally it had to make a comeback but with much more balance. How do I do this with a neurospicy brain that jumps from topic to topic?

LISTS BABY LISTS

I make allllll of the lists! Daily lists, weekly lists, monthly lists. Just like Santa I am making a list and checking it a few dozen times a day and then getting to work.
Frankly if it is not on a list, it’s not getting done!

Then, I do my best to habit stack. I learned about this in the book Atomic Habits. Need to mop the floor AND set new intentions? Let’s do them together. Need to order groceries and meal plan? Add it together,

I also frankly do not let myself sit down unless it’s for work or a meal break during the day. It’s move, move, move until the list is done. I love throwing my headphones on and then either listening to an audiobook or bilateral beats while accomplishing my to do list. It truly does make time FLY by. And it helps me keep up on my reading and intention setting while accomplishing the rest of my list.

Another trick that helps me is looking to my higher self. Is, for example, letting my clothes sit on the floor in a pile for days something my higher self would do? Now sassy Tiffany would say ‘Nah because she has a maid’

Okay sassy Tiffany please sit down.

Okay now that sassy Tiffany has sat down, I go ‘no she wouldn’t so let me throw those clothes into the washing machine and keep it moving’

That thought process alone keeps me moving.
